Taranis is the Celtic god of thunder, a minor character who appears a few times throughout the Adventures of Puss in Boots. He is voiced by Micheal-Leon Wooley.
Physical Appearance[]
He has a very muscular build, he has short red hair and wears a kilt like shirt and has laced brown boots. He wields his magic wheel which he can throw into the air and control, shoot lightning bolts, fly, and control the weather.
Personality[]
He is aggressive and single minded, not letting anyone or anything stop him in getting what he wants, even willing to hurt children. Despite this, he is also unintelligent and easily trickable, believing everything the children tell him, including the extremely exaggerated tales of Puss and his abilities they tell him. He is also scared of the god Toutatis originally.
Plot[]
In "Stories", he appears in San Lorenzo wanting to destroy the town. He is fooled by the Orphans with numerous fabricated tales about Puss' abilities and leaves in fear.
In “Titan Up”, he appears in San lorenzo for help from puss to defeat Toutatis then in the end they both join forces.
In “All Hail, Puss!”, he explains to Puss in Boots about the numerous earthquakes before leaving the universe.
