Summary[]

Puss in Boots and Dulcinea find Sino. There Sino reveals how the magic spell of San Lorenzo and his separation came to be. Thereafter another earthquake strikes. Sino realizing something has gone wrong, asks Puss and Dulcinea what happened while he was away. Learning of the netherworld portal's opening, he asks how long has it been open, and upon hearing it has been so for months, realizes all is lost and the world will come to an end. Puss insists that there is a way and the three decide to return to San Lorenzo to search for the Arcanum.

Puss takes the gem from his statue, believing it to be the arcanum though is mistaken and only serves to annoy the mage. Upon leaving the treasure house, the townsfolk are in shock to see their great mage once more, though Kid Pickles sees him as Artephius. Sino explains what he said to Puss and Dulcinea and requests for help searching for the magic artefact. Though initially everyone scrambles to search for the magic, Duchess after swooning over Sino, speaks up, saying she detects its presence inside the treasure house. They proceed to the location of the Obelisk of Night. Sino warns the cats that the third Tulpa should appear to guard the Arcanum although he doe not remember what it is, irritating the cats with the lack of warning beforehand. He chants an incantation to bring the Arcanum into his grasp.

Suddenly, Dulcinea is engulfed in red light and transforms. Sino and Puss realizes she is the third tulpa. Puss and Dulcinea engage in battle. Puss reluctantly battles against his romantic interest, compelled by nature of her origin. She nearly kills puss, which causes her to regain her own consciousness. She regrets her actions, though is placated by Sino's explanation that it was not in her control. He takes the Arcanum and leaves when another earthquake strikes.

He casts a protection spell on the city before the rest of the planet is destroyed. the townspeople can only look up in shock, seeing the surroundings become nebulas of space. Sino tells Puss he must go back in time (Until the first episode), to never enter the hidden city, for his personality is so strong that it clashes with the magic of the protection spell and will inevitably cause the destruction of the world. He and the townspeople exchange farewells, knowing their time together will never come to be. Puss makes a request to keep his memories of his time, which the great mage obliges, saying it will help him become the hero the world needs. Dulcinea makes a request to the wizard, asking to go back with Puss. The Sorcerer agrees, saying she is a unique tulpa, with her own destiny to fulfill. One that has not yet been fulfilled.
