Summary[]

When Puss in Boots is fighting thieves he tells Dulcinea about his encounters with enemies of his past. Dulcinea is impressed but Puss however tells her that he sometimes yearns about his past. Dulcinea is worried that if Puss doesn’t recall his old days in San Lorenzo that he might vacate from San Lorenzo. Dulcinea plans to make a surprise for Puss that will hopefully convince him to stay.

Meanwhile Jack Sprat an old friend of Puss visits San Lorenzo. Dulcinea immediately dislikes him but Puss welcomes him. On the rooftop Puss asks Jack Sprat his purpose for coming to San Lorenzo. Jack Sprat tells him so he could revisit him again. Puss chuckles at him for his real reason and that if he came for the treasure that they are going to have an issue. Jack Sprat tells him that he’s not after the treasure but rather for an Adventure to rescue a Princess, Puss asks if she’s endangered and Jack responds yes, so Puss agrees to go with Jack on the adventure to save the princess.

In the town square Dulcinea and the orphans redesign the Treasure House into a homemade castle. She asks who the main princess will be but all the orphans wanted to be a princess. She allowed all of them to be a princess though the main princess is Toby. They wanted Artephius to be the villain so he is placed to be the Evil Wizard. Kid Pickles agrees that a macramé owl is really unoriginal and out of fashion and requests him to find another weapon.

Jack Sprat and Puss enter a centuries old temple infested with all kinds of dangerous and wacky traps. They cross through fire, axe blades, darts, and puzzles. At San Lorenzo Dulcinea confronts Artephius about Jack. Artephius knowingly feels that Dulcinea greatly dislikes him. Dulcinea dishonestly tells him that she likes everyone including Jack. Artephius tells her that Jack makes her mad and that the whole time she’s been saying “No” that she’s been nodding “Yes.” Dulcinea is very appalled that she actually doesn’t like a person.

When Jack Sprat and Puss arrives at the main Treasure room of the temple, Puss is worried that he’ll miss his Surprise. Jack points to the Princess and Puss attempts to rescue her. When Puss finally sees the Princess he notices something odd about her. Puss tries calling out to Jack but Jack filling his sack with Treasure and gold tells him to save the Princess himself, Puss tells him it’s not a princess and there he sees a Beast with a fake princess dangling from it’s head. Puss tries apologizing to it for disturbance but the monster took no interest and attacks him. Puss tells Jack that there was no Princess and was a trap. Jack Sprat informs him that there was a monster and tells him to handle it himself. Puss now realizes Sprat had been using him for his own gain of treasure. Jack Sprat tries asking that that’s the reason for being friends but Puss corrects him by saying that that’s not how friends perform. Puss manages to escape the monster but the monster notices Jack who is now an easy target, especially since he’s defenseless. Puss demands him to defend himself and Puss notices the Jewel of Entrapment. Jack takes out a fake wooden sword but realizes it’s no good. The Monster attempts to eat him but Puss luckily saves Jack with the Jewel of Entrapment. Jack believing that the Jewel is valuable wants to keep it but Puss tells him it has no use anymore since it has trapped something. Puss then snaps at Jack for making him go an a fraudulent adventure and tells him he had better not miss his surprise. Jack tries to tell him that he has always been like this and Puss tells him that he’s no longer the same after this.

Puss arrives back in San Lorenzo sees his surprise and is impressed. The orphans playfully come out and informs him that they’re princesses, Puss asks if he had to save them but they tell him they‘re evil. Vina hands out a fake sword and tells Puss to defeat them Puss hesitates at first but Vina tells him it’s okay since it’s for entertainment. Puss fake swings the sword and the orphans drop faking death. Dulcinea tells him it’s time to save the Good Princess. Then Esme dressed as a dragon approaches Puss roaring at him, Puss gently hits the dragon costume and Esme drops down. Artephius needs to find a weapon to play along and sees the Jewel of Entrapment. Not aware that there’s a monster trapped inside he takes it and uses it as it’s replacement weapon. Puss now climbs up To the top of the Treasure House to save Princess Toby. Artephius playing as the Evil Wizard comes out and manically speaks to Puss about his upcoming defeat. He takes out the Jewel and Puss alarmed tells Artephuis to be careful with it! Artephuis believing that Puss is playing still continues to talk. He mistakenly breaks the Jewel which causes the monster to be freed. The blast Wave frees Toby. Artephius being carried by Toby escape the monster, Puss attempts to fight it and knocks it over. Puss makes a Gesture and is knocked out by the monster. The orphans try to attack the monster but the monster which almost eats them is stopped by Puss. Jack Sprat arrives to apologize but tries to walk out after noticing the monster. Puss tells Jack to do something for once in his life. Jack Sprat at first feels confidence and tries to stop the monster. But he only slightly hits the monster with his fake sword. Dulcinea angry at Jack tells him she doesn’t like him and then snaps at the monster which sends it away. Puss is amused with Jacks bravery and tells him goodbye. Puss thanks all for his surprise and tells them this is the best adventure for him.
